OVERDRAFT PROTECTION - "Covered Bridge Credit" and Automatic Transfer:

Do you have the occasional “oops” and end up overdrawing your checking account?  If so, Covered Bridge Credit may be right for you.

  • It will automatically put money into your Bank of Zumbrota Checking account (if it becomes overdrawn) in increments of $100 up to your approved credit limit.

  • The Annual Fee is only $20.00 - compare that to a one time overdraft fee!

  • Repayment is easy. Regular monthly payments will be deducted from your checking account until your loan is paid off. You also have the option of making additional payments or paying your loan in full at any time. We let you choose what works best for you.
  •
Another way to protect from overdrafts is to sign up for Automatic Transfer.

  • Automatic Transfer can be set up so that funds from your Bank of Zumbrota savings or checking account can be automatically transferred to your checking account to cover overdrafts.

  • The cost per transfer is $5.

  • Please call us for more information.

Important Information About Procedures for Opening A New Account At Bank of Zumbrota
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.  What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
